What this content is, and what it is not
The species parameters, tank-mate advice and build sequences published here are compiled from our own tank records and from published husbandry references. They are hobbyist field notes shared for reference. An aquarium is a biological system: the same numbers behave differently in different source water, with different filtration and different feeding habits.
Nothing here is veterinary advice, commercial aquaculture guidance, or a promise of any outcome. When a fish shows disease, fin erosion, ich or laboured breathing, consult an aquatic veterinarian. We accept no responsibility for livestock loss, equipment damage or water damage arising from copying what is written here.
Electrical, heating and structural decisions mentioned in build logs - a tank sitting on a floor or a custom cabinet, for instance - are yours to check. Follow your local building and electrical codes.

The text, parameter tables, illustrations (including the parametric SVG artwork) and page structure on this site belong to OceanBreeze and are protected by copyright. You may read, print and cache pages for your own hobby reference, and quote short passages with a credit and a link back.
